• Izumi Hayase Izumi Hayase

  Izumi Hayase was born in 1989 in Okinawa.
  In 2016, she took over the farm in Nakijin Village from her parents, who had cultivated the land organically for 40 years, and started an indigo field with ten seedlings.
  She creates fabrics sampling classic patterns and makes products using plants from the environment that give off a scent of the soil.
