The Asuka Art Community-formed (Hokkaido) group "THE SNOWFLAKES" creates an installation work using seawater crystals (salt).
So far, they have created installation works that combine marine debris. This time with the idea of bridging Hokkaido and Okinawa, their two bases connected by the sea, they will develop an installation using seawater crystals from the north and south in a classroom of the former Shioya Elementary School.
The documentary, "THE SNOWFLAKES" (video: Naoki Takahari), of their special exhibition on Jeju Island, South Korea, in 2020 will also be released.
